INTA is an Argentine public research and extension Institute founded in 1956. 42 experimental stations, 240 extension and technology transfer units, and 12 national research institutes, enable INTA to contribute substantially to production and managerial change processes the Argentine agri-food sector needs to be able to compete in the world's new production and marketing scenario.

In the last years the INTA research team have been focuses in several agrifood chain and agrifood sector studies, such us : identifications, Characterization and analysis of different supply chain (Beef, Milk, Wheat, etc..); Enterprises relationships; agrifood enterprise strategies; Productive concatenation and network analysis; GM supply chain; Supply chain competitiveness; trade policies, etc.

 European research project experience

  • EC FP6 SSP EUMERCOPOL-6516: "Analysis of the competitiveness of Mercosur key agrifood sector, comparisons of policies and the ex-ante impacts of EU-Mercosur trade liberalization". (2005-07).
  • EC FP5 INCO-Dev MYCOTOX -10043. The development of a Food Quality Management System for the Control of Mycotoxins in Cereal Production and Processing Chains in Latin America south Cone Countries. (2003-06).
  • EC FP6 IP CO-EXTRA-007158: "GM and non-GM supply chains: their Co-Existence and Traceability"(2005-08)
